Masthead: Word Weaving

Word Weaving began as a creative experiment between two poetic friends, Colleen Chesebro and JulesPaige, birthed from our combined love for writing syllabic poetry.

Here at Word Weaving, we’re excited to contribute to the writing community. Our intention is to be a small, online, and print literary journal that shares thoughtful poetry with uplifting fresh voices while supporting established ones.

The proceeds from the sale of this journal will be used to sponsor a yearly poetry contest on Word Craft ~ Prose & Poetry at wordcraftpoetry.com to be announced in 2022. Prizes will be determined at a later date.

JulesPaige is a nom de plume—because I believe words are like jewels on a page. I write to entertain myself and friends that I have found through the internet.

I started writing when I was eleven years old. My eldest grandchild will soon be turning eleven!

I’ve been published in college journals, my local newspaper, and in several books to raise money for charity. My primary love is writing and learning new poetic forms. I also enjoy flash fiction.

I’ve been published online at Pure Haiku.
For charity at Simply Elfje; Little Poems in Just Eleven Words and compiled by Elizabeth Leaper.
