TankaTuesday Weekly #Poetry Challenge No. 300, 11/29/22, #ShareYourDay

WELCOME TO #TANKATUESDAY!

This is the last poetry challenge for 2022. I’ll return on January 3, 2023, with a new year of poetry challenges. Stay Tuned…

🎄🤶🏻🎁

🎄 I’m taking the month of December off to promote my newest book, Fairies, Myths, & Magic II – A Winter Celebration, dedicated to Yule and the winter solstice. 🎄

🤶🏻 There will be a blog tour on colleenmchesebro.com. If you don’t follow me there… you will want to. The tour runs from December 1 through December 15. 🤶🏻

🎁 I’m offering a $15 U.S.D. Amazon.com gift certificate for comments left on my host’s blogs. (I’ll be keeping track). Every comment you leave on my hosts blogs gives you another chance to win the Amazon gift certificate. 🎁

🎄🤶🏻🎁

This is our 300th #TankaTuesday Challenge!!

It’s the fifth Tuesday of the month! #ShareYourDay is a way to get to know each other better. Take a photo and write a syllabic poem about your day. Don’t think on it too hard. Make it fun. The photo does not need to be a selfie. If you don’t have access to a camera, find an image on Pixabay.com (please add the credits) that best describes your day.

Please note: I won’t provide a Monday recap for this challenge, so please visit everyone from Mr. Linky. Thanks so much. 💜

It’s our last challenge of the year! Make it fun! 💜

For this challenge, write your poem from the forms defined on the cheat sheet OR from the forms found on Poetscollective.org.

The comments on this post will close in two weeks. I’m doing this to prevent spam. (I had 800 spam comments this weekend. I don’t know if WP had a breach, but this was unbelievable).

Here are some sites that will help you write your poetry and count syllables:

    1. Thanks, Franci. I wasn’t sure if I would keep it going this year. I had so many emails asking me to keep it going. Now, I can’t imagine being without it for a month while I promote my new book. LOL! 💜

        1. Thanks so much. I’m so busy right now with the book tour starting tomorrow. I have client books to format and more book covers to create. It’s a really busy time of the year. If I don’t make it to you and Sadje’s challenges, I will at the new year. ❤️

    1. Well, I have a book to format and a print book cover to create. I also have the two week blog tour for Fairies, Myths, & Magic II. I’ll be busy, but it’s all good. It keeps me out of trouble. LOL! 😀

    1. Stop by for my Fairies, Myths, & Magic II blog tour which starts tomorrow. There’s prizes… and yes, next year we will all write more poetry together. I’m busy, so that’s a good thing. 🎄
