#TankaTuesday Weekly Poetry Challenge No. 296, 11/1/22: #Tastetherainbow-Color Poetry

Hello everyone. Happy November! This is the last #TastetheRainbow challenge of 2022. I’m taking December off to promote my new book: Fairies, Myths, & Magic III-A Winter Celebration, dedicated to the winter solstice. This book contains syllabic poetry, free-style poetry, short stories, and flash fiction.

To be clearer… the November 29th challenge will be the last one of the year. I’ll be back in January 2023 with a bunch of new ideas (and new/less rules) for us to create poetry together. Mark your calendars!

This week, choose your own syllabic form and a color to feature in your syllabic poem. Think about the different ways you can use color in a poem.

P.S. 🌈 Taste the Rainbow refers to colors. You do not have to write about a rainbow in your poem. Just include a color in your poem. 🌈

  1. I can’t wait to start participating in these in the new year, Colleen. And good for you for taking the month of December off to concentrate on your new book, which I can’t wait to read!
