#TankaTuesday #Poetry Stars No. 272 | #TastetheRainbow: Color Poetry

Welcome to our weekly poetry stars’ celebration. This week’s challenge was to add a color and write our choice of syllabic poem, using a form from the cheat sheet or a syllabic form from the Poetscollective.org.

I was thrilled with this week’s poetry. The psychology behind adding colors to our poetry adds layers of meaning. These deeper levels of meaning help a poet or writer develop the emotions in the reader that help to create persuasive themes or messages.

  1. Hi Colleen, hope you are enjoying your gardening day. I’ve realized that your posts aren’t showing up in my reader. I received the email notification, but I always go over the reader, and recently they aren’t showing in there.

      1. Yes, I subscribe to the email, but sometimes I go directly to the WP app, and I thought it was strange don’t see your posts in there! 😉

  2. Congrats to all the contributors, Colleen. I found you in the reader by typing in Colleen. I have to do the same with mine. I type in Eugi/Eugenia or Eclectic to find my blogs in the reader.💖
