#TankaTuesday #Poetry Stars No. 267 | #ShareYourDay

Welcome to our weekly poetry stars’ celebration. This week’s challenge was to write our choice of syllabic poem, using a form from the cheat sheet or a syllabic form from Poetscollective.org.

The idea here was to share something from your day. Often, we find inspiration right in front of us. I know some of you don’t have access to a camera. No worries. Just write about what you see around you. This was an exercise in mindfulness and writing poetry in the moment. Wait until you read the poetry!

Many thanks to everyone who joined in below:

There was plenty of inspiration this week! Thanks for having some fun. Because of you, #ShareYourDay is a total success! ❤

I loved Sujata’s gogyohka and accompanying photo.

Don’t forget Lady Lee’s Alouette, which gives us a glimpse into her personality.

I really enjoyed Gwen’s tanka. I’d love to have her garden planting bed!

See you tomorrow for the new challenge!
