WELCOME TO TANKA TUESDAY!

We’re celebrating the 5th Birthday of #TankaTuesday! Join in and write some syllabic poetry!
It’s the fourth week of the month! Are you ready for a theme prompt? Eugi (Franci Hoffman) from last month’s challenge picked the theme:
This month’s theme is:
The Harvest Moon
On the Monday before the next challenge, I’ll select someone to choose next month’s theme.
Here are some sites that will help you write your poetry and count syllables:

Hi Colleen, I’m back to the blog world, and I couldn’t be happier to have this theme to start writing my poems again! 🙂 I’ve already pre-order the moon of autumn, but the kindle, I didn’t find the hardcopy for it! 😦

The paperback will be available on October 1. Welcome back! You’ve been missed, Elizabeth. 🍂🧡🍂

My poem is posted. First time I’ve written an Etheree. Thanks, Colleen, for your inspiration 🙂

Good for you! The Etheree is a fun and creative form. The syllable count gives it a nice rhythm. I’ll be over soon to read your poem. 🧡

Again, many Happy Wishes …. and what a lovely theme, naturally, being in the northern hemisphere – as we turn the tables and tides, slipping into Autumn.
An interesting reading selection of all kinds of interesting poetic forms – cheers to all!
here’s mine: (late to the party, but I like to simmer in my cauldron) : honey + cider :

The challenge runs from Tuesday to Sunday. I put together the recap on Sunday so that it publishes at midnight on Monday. With so many participants from around the world, it’s best to get it where everyone sees the post in a timely manner.
