Ben’s world 28/03/2018

I love Ben the dog’s poetry and was thrilled to find that his favorite thing to do last week was to write a poem for my Tanka Tuesday Challenge. That, Ben. He’s a darling. ❤

I’m a tri coloured Border Collie, mostly dark brown, which is a bit difficult to work with. However, I’ve got a streak of white running down my nose and I wondered about a bit of purple and orange, for a punk dog effect. What do you think, would it suit me?

My person is getting more and more grey but I’m not sure I’m allowed to tell you that. I hope I don’t go…

    1. Isn’t that a sweet photo? Ben has been writing some darn good poetry. I lost my two beloved Pomeranian sisters, last year. Ben has eased my loss. ❤

        1. Oh my goodness Jan, thank you so much. I have done a bit of research on the internet and it seems that AA would like to take my dog beer away. I’m not having that, it’s only a bottle now and again. I don’t see any Ankles Anonymous so perhaps I could start a self-help group as my next venture and help a lot of similarly affected canines. Love Ben xx

          1. Ah, your story has touched my heart sweetie. Perhaps you can cut down on the beer but still enjoy a glassful now and again. As for the self-help group, you go for it! A worthwhile endeavour Ben. Hugs. Jan xx

  1. Woof, woof, woof. Thank you so much for re-blogging Colleen. I feel so very humble to have eased your pain a little. Those of us who are lucky enough to have kind owners know you do your very best for us right to the last. In honour of your kindness I am going to keep my fur just the way it is (for now anyway, hee, hee) and insist on a kiss from my person everyday, pretending it is from you. Love Ben xx
