“Snowflakes,” #CinquainPoetry #ABRSC #SynonymsOnly

Hello and welcome to my contribution to my weekly Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge. This week we had to find synonyms for “cover and precipitation.” I decided to create a cinquain using the words, snowflakes, and shield.

Here are the rules for writing 5 line Cinquain Poetry:

“Snowflakes”

Snowflakes –

sparkling diamonds

snowing, blowing, freezing

frosty iciness chilling shield

crystals

  5. dornahainds – Originally born in India, but raised in United States, I would consider myself an avid reader, and occasionally I write. Most poetic inspirations take root when I am walking with my four year old Chihuahua, Lola. Much of my other writing comes from my love of History, Mythology, from the vast fictional works of others and creations - Sci fi, romance, most genres.
