The End of Summer – A Tanka

Autumn winds entreat –

slivers of silvery moon

burnished in the slough,

fairy nymphs crying raindrops

mourning the end of summer.

        1. I think it all comes down to looking for the good in people and seeing the “good” around you. Our world is so negative lately. It feels good to be part of something positive. ❤

          1. I am in total agreement about how there’s too much negativity in this our precious world and not enough positive. And every little piece, word, artistic expression should be encouraged and shared whenever possible. And to be a part of anyone’s or anything’s positivity, is pretty, pardon my French, ‘badass.’ 🙂

    1. Sounds nice, Terri. By Tuesday, the cold fingers of frost will touch us all. Fall color is starting here in Colorado Springs. It’s gorgeous! ❤️

    1. My meadow fairies are looking for shelter here in the mountains. Frost is coming. I hear the snow fairies have found my house. I look forward to meeting them. 😘🦄❤️

    1. Thank you, Viva. I have been concentrating on the “elementals.” I thought that was the perfect imagery. ❤
