The RonovanWrites #Weekly #Haiku #Poetry Prompt #Challenge #101 words for this week are “fresh and wind.” I have been absent the last couple of weeks. I hate when life gets in the way of poetry!
To keep things interesting, I used “airy” for fresh, and “breeze” for wind.
I am enjoying the warm temperatures that Colorado has been sharing with us. The thunderstorms are magnificent. Thunder rumbles deep over the Rocky Mountains as winds howl and rain and hail plummet my vegetable garden. Today it is barely 70 degrees F. The prediction is that we will reach 90 degrees F. in the next couple of days. Time for the air conditioner!
It is with little difficulty then, you will understand my Haiku to hearld in the main event of summer on June 20th!
Many thanks to Ronovan for sponsoring this fun event. In fact, Ronovan says:
“The Review will be back beginning with this week’s challenge. I’ll be attempting to do it again; if I can’t it’s been suggested that perhaps some volunteers would be willing to pick 20 Haiku and comment on them like I used to do. There will not be the elaborate set up as before. Straight to the haiku and comments without sections and things. Simple and easy.”
I for one am going to try to comment on twenty other poet’s Haiku. Will you join me?
I love the thought of an airy breeze!

I love each season for what gifts it has to offer us. Spring is always my favorite but I do love the heat of summer… at least I do here in the mountains. It doesn’t last long! LOL! 😉

Lovely haiku Colleen! Those stormy nights in the mountains must be divine. I look forward to many days and nights on the beach. 😉 xx I’m with you. I try to visit as many blogs as I can. Ron’s review makes it so much easier to do, so I’m grateful for that.

I went back to adding the participants on the WQWWC too. It is more work but seems more fulfilling when we can see each other and visit blogs. ❤
