Share Your Light

The Bird and the Tree

A little bird did spread its wings

And flew into this world

Curious what love could mean

There was so much that it had heard

The flight led it through sunny skies

And warm and happy days

But then it had to flee and hide

When threats did come in many ways

And terrified by thunderstorms

It felt lonely, cried for help

Wished for some loving warmth

Exhausted and resigning

It was almost giving up

It landed on a tree and hoped

That pain would finally stop

After a while, the bird calmed down

And it looked where it was

It was so peaceful and so nice

What could have been the cause?

“Don’t be afraid my little bird
