The Foggy Corridor

Foggy shapes drifting,

suspended –

beings of moisture and light

beckoning and cajoling,

gently persuading,

anticipating your entrance

into the dark corridor.

Will you go?

    1. I agree. Some of these foggy mornings conjure up all kinds of horror movies in my mind. Believe me, I tread carefully near those swamps.LOL!

    1. The snakes and spiders are what worry me. I have no idea what is living in all that muck under the vines. Good for you, Rob. It would scare the crap out of you! LOL! ❤

          1. Yes, we put our house up for sale. We are going to move to Colorado Springs. We both want to go back out west. The heat and humidity are killing us. We’re ready to go! 😀

          2. Maybe take a sprig, or two, from the Fairy Swamp and start a little Fairy Garden in Colorado Springs. 🙂 The humidity must be awful, but I’m sure that it will be difficult to leave your home for a new one.

          3. No, that is fine. We have moved every couple of years trying different places. This will be our last move. We want to be closer to the children who still talk to us! LOL! Our two older girls are in California and Utah. It will be good to be closer to them. 😀

          4. Once our house sells here. It has been up for sale for a week is all. No takers yet. Hopefully it will sell quickly.

          5. Oh, of course. No worries there. I like moving like this. I get to take all my fiends with me. 😀

    1. You and I would not go into that swamp. Snakes, spiders, and I don’t know what is hiding in that swamp ooze. Now, if the swamp fairies took us, we could go. 😉 ❤

        1. I have no idea, but I have seen some turtles and snakes. One day an opossum crossed the road. Lots of armadillos! They look scary! Prehistoric, even. 😀

    1. Thanks, Hugh. I keep telling everyone that this swamp is actually pretty creepy. It is only the appearance of the swamp fairies that make it feel safe. 😉

    1. You guys are all a lot braver than I am. I don’t know. The ground is marshy. I know the swamp is full of snakes, spiders, and I don’t know what else. It is actually a pretty scary place! LOL! ❤

        1. That is why I “walk” by the swamps. No one goes in them. The owner told me it is really boggy soil. No thanks. I keep thinking about the movie, “The Creature From the Black Lagoon!” LOL!

          1. The road splits the swamp in half – each side of the road. Everywhere you look there are swamps and wilderness around here. Beautiful, but still you must be careful. 😀

    1. Ha, Ha, Frances! I so agree. Michelle just told me to walk further away from the swamps! Soon, that is all I can say. There will be no swamps in Colorado! LOL! 😀
