I have been on vacation and have missed the last two weeks of Haiku. I fear I am quite out of practice. Ron gave us some hard words this week too! Here is my humble offering… a bit on the dark side:
“Dark Lovers”
An onslaught of hate –
filling my weak heart with dread,
lovers no longer.

Thanks for popping in! I am always glad to see you. Until next time,

Elizabeth, thanks, although it is not one of my best. I just could not wrap any other feelings around those words. I think I am out of practise. 😦

Colleen Cheseboro and hate in one thought jars my brain. Upsets my sensibility. It’s a great haiku nonetheless, my friend. ❤

Mark, you are just sweet. I have no idea where this stuff comes from. Sometimes it just pours out of me. I had a hard time with the words. My husband says I am all sweet, etc. and then look out! LOL! Hate is such a strong word.

So when the fire comes, it’s a hot blaze, you say? That’s very attractive, too, Colleen, paired with the 99 percent sweetness. 😉

Hello Colleen! I imagined a couple tearing each other apart with words until there was irreparable damage. Dark and sad. Well done. ❤

It was. I think I was in a dark mood. Tired from my vacation. That provokes different feelings and words. I am better this week. 😀
