Welcome to Ronovan Writes Weekly Haiku Challenge! Every week, Ron gives us a couple of words to work with for prompts in our haiku. I like to play with words a bit and see where it takes me. This week, I submit for your viewing pleasure:
A tainted kiss stains –
the beauty of our last love,
still sweet on my lips.
Many thanks to Ron for hosting this fabulous challenge each week. The amount of dedication he shows to our community is astounding! Come on and check us out!

Thank you Patty. I have been trying to work on “opposites.”

That is not alway easy to incorporate in the haiku. I love the tenderness of your’s today.

I can’t help myself, I always read three times–fully, then two separate sentences. Another excellent Haiku Colleen!

Hello Colleen! Lovely haiku. That’s why we shouldn’t kiss another unless we feel enough for them that the kiss would be even sweeter than our last love’s kiss. 😉
