I’ll be it is still delicious. I love fresh lemon pie. My mother used to make it but used whipped cream on top. I do not know how to make it. 😦 But that is probably good because I would be eating a lot of it.

I use the Betty Crocker recipe and make it from scratch. My meringue fell in Montana and Arizona… Elevation was too high. 👼💖

Sounds good. Maybe…one day I will try to make it. My mother made her own crust too. But nowadays I know that the store bought ones are pretty good. But there is nothing like the fresh lemon curd IMO.

I make a pie for my husband’s birthday each February. Last year, I made it for Easter because we had grandkids visiting. I do not make my own crust. Too much work. 😄

One of my favourite desserts, Colleen, along with Banoffee Pie, but not while I’m on the “Hugh Diet”. Well maybe just a small portion.
Your haiku is certainly one to think about this week. It’s almost like the saying “look before you leap”.

It sure is Hugh… Or eat now, and pay later! I am on the Hugh diet too. I have started culling my crew. 😀💐

Oh good to hear. I know it sounds nasty but the time I have got back since doing it has been unbelievable. Good luck with it and do let us know how you get on. I’m interested to know if it does work for others.
Next time you bake a Lemon Meringue pie, could I place an order for one? 🙂

That is a deal Hugh. Ron’s birthday is Feb 12th. I will make one then. I will let you know how it goes with the culling. WP does not make it easy to cull blogs though.
